There's this game on Yahoo called Solitaire 13. I used to be really addicted to it, but I slowly stopped playing. With my recent obsession with playing Solitaire, I've gotten back into the rhythm of playing it again. However, although I used to be really good at it and would get grossly large scores every single time I played, now I can't even get through the first pyramid of cards. No matter how hard I try to just get past the first level, I can't do it. I try to ration the cards, it doesn't work. I try to use all the moves right away, it doesn't work. I try to make it even and have everything equal, but it doesn't work either.
That's how I feel right now. No matter how hard I try to get the things I want, it doesn't work. If I sit back and watch everything around me and try to not be involved and hope for everything to just fall in my lap, it doesn't work. If I try but also keep in mind that I can do everything without getting exhausted, I still can't get to the point where I feel 100% happy.
I don't understand. I don't know what I need to do to make it work right. Why is it if I do one thing I'll feel crappy, but if I do the exact opposite, I still feel like I'm doing something wrong?
I find it sad I related my life to a game on Yahoo.

Whoa nelly. I just about crapped myself when I got the mail today. I have been anxiously waiting for a birthday card from Zach for the past week or so, but have yet to get it, so I've been very eager to volunteer to get the mail. Well, when we get home I ask my dad if he got the mail, yada yada, he hadn't, so I ran out there. I take it out and right on top is a card from Justin. I almost died. Not exactly what I was expecting. I'm sure he wrote the same thing in my card that he did in everyone else's, but it was still crazy.
So, today Lori, my mom, and I went off to good old Oshkosh. Kids, I do believe I have found my college. It's awesome down there. Sure, it isn't as good as Luther, but I've kind of given up hope on that. I'm still going to apply..but..yeah. We just don't have the money and I don't really think I have the grades at the moment. :( Oh well.
But, yeah, they answered a lot of questions I've been having so it was nice. I was happy. My mom was happy. My dad is being an asshole at the moment. You know, just while we're talking about family.
After the whole campus thing, we went shopping in Appleton and I spent far too much money. :) But, it was still a lot of fun. We ate at TGI Friday's and we had the hottest water. Oh, man. Very nice.
Lori's going to call me later and let me know if she can give me a ride to Point tomorrow so we can both go and see the City Band concert. I'm supposed to talk to Duane about getting a ride, but I haven't seen him and we haven't been online at the same time. But, Lori was planning on going anyway and, well, I trust her car more than Duane's... So, yeah, hopefully I can go and do that tomorrow.
I'm too lazy to put the pictures up from today, so..you can wait.

I just watched Catch Me If You Can for the first time. Wow. Good movie, if I do say so. And the music...ohhh man. I wish we could have played that song up to speed and had it down for the concert. It would be cool to be able to play it next year, but I don't know if we'd be able to. It's so awesome though. The entire opening credits was practically note for note what the music was that we got in Wind Ensemble. Awesome..
My mom knows a person who met the main character in real life. He does/did all these big seminars for banks teaching tellers how to tell if a check is bad and what signs to look for from people that come in that seem shifty and all that jazz. I think that's pretty cool.
Yeah, anyways. Here I sit at home having a grand old time. Suuure. I should be washing the dishes but, yeah, you know how that goes. At least, when it comes to me, heh.

Yeahhhhhh, yesterday was fun. I have pictures but my computer is being gay (it's having sex with computers of the same gender, yes) at the moment, so I can't put them up just yet. Wait, nevermind, it's working now. There will be pictures.
Anyways, lots of people came over last night. It was a good time. We went and watched the fireworks, but we couldn't see them because the barge that they were shooting them off of sunk, so after the first couple minutes they were nonexistant. So..yeah. Not my fault, as a number of people tried to say it was.
But, it was fun. I enjoyed myself and it was cool to see everyone again. I'm completely exhausted, though, because everyone left around midnight, but I didn't get to bed until after one o'clock because I cleaned up and everything. And then I got up at eight this morning because we went to see grandpa in Marshfield. So, mixed with my three hours of sleep Friday night, it was bad. I slept in the car on the way there and the way back and for like fifteen minutes when we got home. Wooooot.
So, yeah.

I got my brithday picture card from Kayla today. I was very excited, haha. Thanks, love, it made my day!
Last night I had a bit of a breakdown regarding my grandfather, so Laurel came over at midnight to make me feel better (she did - she had me laughing like crazy) and we stayed up watching Butterfly Effect and the Home Shopping Network until 5 o'clock, when my dad left to go to the hospital. It was nice.
But, my grandpa is all good. He had no damage to his heart muscle and he's due to come home in four days. So, that makes me happy, as you can imagine.
People are supposed to start showing up at my house in a while, so I'm going to get ready and stuff. <3

I had a decent day.
Summer came over and we hung out and acted dumb like normal. :) Zach called a few times because he was on a bus and kept getting into crappy reception. He wanted Summer and me to go and meet the corps in Ripon because they're bowling from 10 until midnight or something. However, Ripon is almost two hours away from Nekoosa, so yeah. Doesn't work that way.
Umm, something's up with my grandpa. He's in the hospital right now and I guess he's having heart problems, so that's pretty scary. :S I'm praying he'll be all good.
We watched Cold Mountain today. It was a good movie, despite the fact it was practically soft core porn. Jeez.
So, there you go. I have a headache, so I think I'm going to turn in early again tonight (midnight last night - whoa nelly!).
