Next entry, I'm going to go all out. Contemplation and all the works. Yeah, it's about how my semester went. Time to really get into changing my life and study skills for the better? Yes indeedy. But for now: Home now. Cool enough for now that I can stay in my own room before the heat comes. Matthewlicious is cut off for a bit from games and internet and all that. If anyone reading this right is wondering about his whereabouts, know that he'll be back soon. As soon as he gets back his entertainment stuff. He lost his phone for a few days, but he has it back now. I feel a bit for him since I just recently sent him Bleach CD-Rs. He just saw the first ten episodes (SPIRITS ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU!) and I've seen...around 66/67 eps now. Damn. Oh god, Toy Network unleashed more Carni!Sonic dolls. I've only seen two new characters so far, Eggman and Big, maybe it'll be a second set of five similar to the first set. What can we look forward to? Well, HE'S CRYING "KILL ME! KILL ME!" OH GOD WHY DID THEY STICK HIM IN THE BLENDER?! (though on the positive side, if a three-foot tall Big emerges from carnivals/eBay it will be pure AWESOME) |

Guh, three more days left. I've got to ration my bottle-and-a-half of water and few food things for the next few days. And hardly any money, and I think it'd be a bad idea to try and get more by spending the three bucks I do have on scratch-offs. And why did the Vocelli's near me close? For no other reason than "technical difficulties." And the other one near me, in Cumberland, won't deliver to the dorms. I hope they didn't take the four bucks off my card and kept it, I might need it in case I think I start feeling faintish from lack of food. DAMMIT I NEED THAT CHICKEN/BACON STROMBOLI ONE MORE TIME BEFORE I LEAVE FROSTBURG FOR THREE MONTHS. IT TASTES LIKE A DIETY EJACULATED INTO AN HERB-COVERED BREAD POCKET. Dude, I am never going to watch Danny Phantom out of boredom in the same way again. Holy crap, and here I thought the Harry Potter/Sonic fandoms were bad! I've done badly on the tests/papers but pretty good on the quizzes, and it'll be a miracle if I don't pass out or break down mid-exam tomorrow morning. ...trying to shove aside bad thoughts that won't be with me in the next few months and are temporary for this time of year, three nice things that did happen today besides me starting to study my ass off: One - Bleach episode 60/61. HOLY SHIT. I did NOT see that twist coming. Better get the rest of the BTV downloads before I get back to the no-high speed home again! Two - I should've gotten more Chinese food from the place down the road while I was here. I had it for the first time the other night, and today I ordered three things and it was all I had all day. Ah, yes. That time of the year again. SPRINGTIME CHRISTMAS. The Nintendo conference should be fun. What I hope happens? SEGA pulls another "Heroes" (FUCK THAT WAS THE BEST E3 EVER) and Konami decides to port over Pop'n. Both are highly unlikely but DAMMIT Heroes is STILL the writing-muse for me and still makes my head asplode with happy and Konami DID bring over IIDX (which I still have to buy). Also, I wish for region-free protection on both the PS3 and Wii. That would make loading my legit imports SO much easier and me a very happy Guu. I would only have to worry about the DVD-Rs. Too bad for the first part of it Sony kicked us in the nuts/gave us a nasty cunt punt. Taking Nintendo's idea and the $600 price tag? Damn. And I was thinking about getting a PS3 for the new Sonic, because I'm really interested in how it might turn out. Maybe much MUCH later when I can actually afford one or Sony goes under and they become dirt-cheap like Dreamcasts. And on a sadder note: R.I.P. Rita Repulsa/Bandora the Witch. You helped to make my grade-school weekday mornings more kickass. |

Damn, looks like I might have to pass up the Resaurus!Adventure figures on eBay, my wallet might not be able to handle the blow. To be honest, I'm okay with it. Why? There'll always be another chance and because reading this part of a review for Archie!X #8 made my fucking night last night: Eggman makes his way to the shuttle, but is topped by Big who has been tailing him. Eggman shoves him aside and makes a run for it. Big then uses his fishing pole, and yanks Eggman back. Eggman asks how Big is going to stop him from getting the shuttle. BIG REPLIES BY PUNCHING EGGMAN DEAD IN THE FACE AND BREAKS HIS NOSE! Ouch! ...That is BEGGING for a "Guys Sit Still Then Scream/Point" comic/ITTBY BITTY BABY ITTY BITTY BOAT HABEEB IT TWINKIE HOUSE!/typical 4Chan photoshop meme! SCANS OR TORRENT PLZ. And someone on eBay just sent me just two messages after seeing I left feedback for the Saturn!Grandia with the Map. S/he wants to buy the map from me and wants me to name a price. Besides the fact that I don't know if I can accept the person's funds (do I need a bank account? This person is from the UK), is going up to someone who won an auction and saying "WANT TO BUY WHAT YOU JUST WON!" in violation of the eBay TOS? Or anything else? Something doesn't feel right. And of course I'm not selling the map! It's gorgeous and I may never find another one for under thirty-bucks again! |

Only problems are: 1) Mail office is closed today, so I have to get pick it up tomorrow. 2) MK still has the Saturn. 3) I lack the required 4-in-1 cart. Been working on my essay for The Shipper's Manifesto all afternoon (because of current lack of life and boredom), and it's just about done. I just hope I'm not coming off as too manipulative while still trying to persuade the audience in it. Another problem I'm faced with is that I've gotten word that Big's a major character in the two next issues of Archie!X, and I may have to update my essay should anything...*ahem*...interesting happen in that one. I asked the owner via e-mail if I could update it if I need to, and now all I need to do is await the reply. And yeah, the Nintendo "Gonads and Strife"...wow! Whew. That's a nice thing to give those on the internet something to make a hundred billion YTMNDs and comics of. Doesn't mean I'm not buying it, I intend to love that system despite it being brought to us by the Knights Who Say Wii! |

Dammit, more papers are due. I've got no idea what I'm going to write about for Huck Finn. On the plus side, no Creative Writing Poetry this week. Kingdom Hearts II is still consuming me, even though everytime an old character from the first game exclaims "SORA! DONALD! GOOFY!" when he/she sees the party for the first time (not just NPCs or old party members, but the summons too) it's starting to grate on my nerves. And it happens a LOT. I'm about seventeen hours in now, and I just beat Halloween/Christmas Town. Space Paranoids (TRON...!!) is effing awesome. But for now I come bearing ANTIDOTE. First two parts out of the eleven for now, though it's all easily found if you look in the user's profile or just do a search on "Fist of the North Star." Part One Part Two Oh holy crap. Parents came for the day. Yeah, I'm not going home for Easter (I won't be missing a lot from what I was told), though I was encouraged by my father to watch "OMG THE GREATEST MOVIE EVAR TEN COMMANDMENTS CHUCK HESTON AS MOSES FTW". I'm tempted, because Mr. Heston's a damn fine geezer (not that I condone the idea of people carrying around guns, but meh, you people have your rights to), but Kingdom Hearts II linked itself to my brain. Speaking of which, I shall go reattach myself to it, because I've only played through the 1st Day part so far. I likes the new parry option during combat, it makes things a bit interesting. That's what I like so far given my thirty minutes of experience. But yeah. BRAINGASM. |
