Last night when I went off line I made myself a plate of beans on toast before watching an episode of Firefly on DVD. I was rather tired so had an early night, normally I stay up till midnight but yesterday I was in bed by eleven.

I must have been even more tired than I though as it was after nine when I got up, it is probably good that the weather was bad as getting a good night sleep is more important than going out. Once up I came on line, although that took a while as the computer was being temperamental. Once on I made a start to my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while chatting to Maz on MSN, Randi on AIM, Durel in #spacefem and to Nick and AirBag in #futuramachat.

After lunch I had a short nap and a soak in the bath before coming back on line and finishing my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while watching this week's episode of Heroes on the BBC iPlayer which I had forgotten to record last night. Later on I chatted to Durel in #spacefem, Lucy on Yahoo and to Dread, Nemesis, Yami and Mercy in #dataclaw

Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be better so that we can get out to do some bird watching.

Last night just before I updated I had a short natter to Mandy on MSN. When I went off line I made my supper, as I was rather tired I didn't watch a film, instead I watched an episode each of Firefly and Gunslinger Girl. When I went to bed I felt pretty ill, in case I coughed so much I was sick.

I didn't sleep to well and got up at five o'clock and watched another episode of Firefly and read the newspaper before coming on line and making most of my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing and having a short chat to Mandy on MSN. Even though I hadn't had a good night I decided to go to Peterborough anyway to get some fresh air. I didn't buy anything as just about all the DVDs for sale can be found at a better price on line. I did of course have some beer, a breakfast in the Draper's Arms and later a lunch in the Brewery Tap. I must have been more tired than I though as I slept for most of the bus journey home and I rarely sleep when travelling.

When I got home I finished my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while chatting to Dread, Tarwedge and Adamas in #dataclaw, to Durel in #spacefem and to Lucy on Yahoo.

I might be going out bird watching tomorrow although that is dependent on the weather being okay, if is is snowing we'll say in.

Yesterday evening I chatted to SkyDancer, OutOfMind, FireyFlame and BondBatGirl in the Kingdom of Loathing chat. When I went off line I made my supper before watching High Plains Drifter and the penultimate episode of Gunslinger Girl on DVD.

I woke up fairly early due to my cold, when I got up I read the newspaper  before coming on line and making most of my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. While doing that I chatted to Durel and GOTR in #spacefem and to Nick in #futuramachat. I also posted a review of High Plains Drifter on the IMDb.

After lunch I had a nap then had a hair cut and a bath before coming back on line and watching this week's episode of Spooks while finishing my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. Later on I chatted to Lucy on Yahoo, Durel in #spacefem and to Dread, Kayura, Nemesis, Yami and Kit.

Tomorrow, if I'm not feeling too ill I will probably go to Peterborough on the bus, a bit of fresh air might do me some good.

While chatting I posted a bit on PEEL and wrote a short review of Joe Kidd which I posted on the IMDb. I also watched this week's episode of Top Gear on the BBC iPlayer.

After lunch and a nap I came back on line and watched Wallander, a new detective show set in Sweden, the first episode was pretty good, I'll certainly watch the remaining episodes. I also chatted to Lucy on Yahoo and to Laura and Gudbjorg in #futuramachat while finishing my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing.

Yesterday evening I had another chat with Kairi in #dataclaw. When I when off line I made my supper before watching Coogan's Bluff on DVD, I thought at first there was something wrong with the DVD player as I was only getting sound, it turned out that the lead wasn't properly plugged into the television. After that I watched another episode of Gunslinger Girl.

This morning when I came on line I made most of my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing where I chatted to OldJanitor, in #spacefem I spoke to Durel and on MSN I had a brief natter to Mandy, I also wrote my weekly emails to Holly and Aleel and posted a review of Coogan's Bluff on the IMDb.

After lunch I popped round the road to help a friend of my fathers with his computer, unfortunately I couldn't figure out why one program wasn't working but I could download another which should help him. When I got back home I had a short rest and a bath before coming back on line and finishing my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. I also posted a bit on Spacefem's Forum and chatted with Lucy on Yahoo and to Juliet on MSN.

I might be going out tomorrow, if I do I hope the weather is a lot better than today as it was rather wet.

This morning, when I got up I made a start to my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while chatting to my friend Randi on AIM and to Phish in #dataclaw. I thought when we left for Gainsborough at a quarter past eight we'd get there too early and I'd have a lot of time to kill, in fact we got there slightly later than planned. I went for a stroll around the town and was pleased to find a Wetherspoons pub, The Sweyn Forkbeard, where I had a full English breakfast and a half pint. At eleven I popped in to the Eight Jolly Brewers for a bit more beer.

Once my father's meeting was over we continued on to the Potteric Carr Nature Reserve near Doncaster, given that it was so close to a large town I was amazed at just how large the site was. After a long walk to the hide we got excellent views of our first Caspian Gull of the year, however we didn't manage to see any Lesser-spotted Woodpeckers.

When I got home I had my dinner before coming back on line and making more moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while chatted to GOTR, Meppi, Stapler and Durel in #spacefem and to Dread, Kairi and Tarwedge in #dataclaw.

Yesterday when I went off line I made my supper then watched the third of the Clint Eastwood films I bought recently, this time The Gauntlet, I followed this with another episode of Gunslinger Girl.

When I got up I popped on line and made a start to my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while in #spacefem I chatted to Durel and GOTR. I wasn't on for very long as we set off for Staffordshire at half past eight. When we got there it was a long walk from the car park to the bird, thankfully when we got the Spotted Sandpiper was showing very well although as it is Winter it had no spots.

On the way home we stopped off at the Arkwright Arms in Sutton Cum Duckmanton near Bolsover, I think this pub will added to out list of places to stop at if we are in the area. Once back home I made more moves in the Kingdom of Loathing and spoke to Durel in #spacefem.

I might be going out again tomorrow as there have been Lesser-spotted Woodpeckers seen at a site near Doncaster, my father has a meeting near there in the morning so if the weather is good I'll go up with him, even though passing two hours in Gainsburough might be less than interesting.

Last night after I updated I had a natter with Daniela on Yahoo. When I went off line I made my supper before watching The Beguiled and an episode of Gunslinger Girl on DVD. At first the picture was poor even after I'd disconnected the aerial from the wall, I thought it might be a fault with the disc but thankfully when I removed the aerial cord from the television the picture improved.

When I came on line this morning I made a start to my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing where I chatted to OldJanitor, I also spoke to Durel and Mousy in #spacefem. While doing that I wrote a review of The Beguiled which I posted on the IMDb. At about half past eleven I had to pop out for a bit to help take some stuff round to the village hall.

After lunch I had a nap before coming back on line and finishing my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing and chatting to Gudbjorg, Books, Obama, Josh and Denise in #futuramachat, I also had to delete more posts on PEEL, I have a feeling somebody there is going to be banned. Later on I chatted with Lucy on Yahoo and to Kairi and Blusk in #dataclaw.

Tomorrow I will probably be off bird watching as there is a Spotted Sandpiper at a reservoir in Staffordshire and I haven't seen one for several years.

After lunch I had a nap before coming back on line and watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, an old episode of Top Gear and this week's episode of An Island Parish. I also chatted to Dread, Nemesis, Yami, Kairi and Deja in #dataclaw.

Yesterday evening when I went off line I made my supper then watched The Bourne Identity on DVD, as I wasn't too tired when it finished I then watched another episode of Gunslinger Girl.

When I came on line this morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing where I spoke to OldJanitor, on AIM I chatted to my friend Randi and on MSN I chatted to Juliet. I also posted a bit on Spacefem's Forum, deleted some posts on PEEL and posted a review of The Bourne Identity on the IMDb.

I went off for lunch a little earlier than usual so we could go to see a Red-breasted Flycatcher in a park in Luton. It wasn't showing when we arrived, as there were rather a lot of trees I thought we might have missed out again but thankfully it returned and we got some fairly good views in the end. On the way home we stopped off at The Engineer's Arms in Henlow where I had a few halves of very nice ale.

Once home I was pleased to find that all of the Clint Eastwood DVDs I ordered last week had arrived. When I got on line I nattered to Lucy on Yahoo, Durel in #spacefem and to Sticky in #futuramachat.

Last night after I updated I chatted with Kayura, Dread and Nemesis in #dataclaw and in #spacefem I chatted to Durel. When I went off line I had some beans on toast then watched The Place Promised In Our Early Days and an episode of Gunslinger Girl on DVD.

This morning when I got up I came on line and made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing, while I chatted with Durel in #spacefem, Nate in #futuramachat, to Randi on AIM and with Ryan and Juliet on MSN, I also wrote my weekly emails to Aleel and Holly. While I was doing things on line I noticed that it was snowing quite heavily outside


After an enjoyable lunch I had a nap and a bath before coming back on line and posted a bit on PEEL and Spacefem's Forum. Later on I spoke to Durel again in #spacefem.

Yesterday when I went off line I made my supper then watched Alien Vs Predator on video, I had recorded it when it was on television a few days ago and expected it to be terrible but it wasn't too bad after all. I then watched an episode of Gunslinger Girl on DVD.

When I got up I popped on line and made a start to my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing, while doing that I spoke to Randi on MSN and to Kirby, GOTR and Arcanthus in #spacefem. At eight o'clock we set off for Rainham Marshes, we had a good journey till we were almost there, because the map showed the incorrect location for the reserve access it took a while to find it. Once there we asked where we should be looking for the Serin, we went there but couldn't find it. I suspect it was keeping fairly low as it was very windy there. As a slight consolation I was able to get a nice photograph of a Kestrel perched close to the path.


We had a good journey back and were back just after three o'clock, once home I came on line and wrote a review of Alien Vs Predator which I posted on the IMDb, while making more of my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. I also spoke to Laura, Obama and Gudbjorg in #futuramachat and to LightDragon, Ghosticle and Tarwedge in #dataclaw.

Last night when I went off line I made my supper then watched this week's episode of Apparitions which I had recorded earlier followed by an episode of Gunslinger Girl on DVD.

I woke up fairly early this morning so made a mug of coffee and read the newspaper before coming on line and making my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing where I spoke to OldJanitor, in #spacefem I chatted to Mousy, Durel, Arcanthus and GOTR and in #futuramachat I chatted to Randi and Dixie, I also chatted with Randi on AIM and to Mandy on MSN. I had to pop out for a little bit as a friend of my father's was having problems with his computer, I think I managed to fix it though.

After lunch I had a nap then came back on line and chatted to Mandy a bit more, I also chatted to Dread, Kayura and Nemesis in #dataclaw and to Gudbjorg, Amy, Human and Morbo in #spacefem. While chatting I listened to Mark Kermode's Film Reviews on Radio Five and posted on PEEL and Spacefem's Forum.

Tomorrow I will probably be out for most of the day as we plan to go to the RSPB Reserve at Rainham Marshes in London as there is at least one Serin there and we haven't seen one for a few years.

Last night after I updated I watched this week's episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. When I went off line I made a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich for my supper before watching The Culture Show on BBC2, I then watched My Neighbour Totoro on DVD.

This morning I popped on line for a bit to make a start to my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing, while doing that I chatted to Randi on AIM, I also spoke to her and Books in #futuramachat. At half past nine we went out to Norfolk, our first stop was Holkham Park where we went for a walk through the trees, there weren't any unusual birds there but it was a nice place to have a stroll.

We then headed to Binham for lunch, I had the lamb which was excellent. While there I told Alex that I'd seen that they had got a good write-up in The Good Beer Guide, she hadn't seen it so I got the book from the car to show her, she seemed rather happy with what it had to say, we also showed it to Steve the Landlord and to Neil the chef who was rather pleased as the review mentioned that the pub had a "talented chef". On the way home we stopped of at Titchwell. When I got back home I finished my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing and had a chat to Daka on MSN.

Yesterday evening when I went off line I made a bacon and egg sandwich for my supper before watching the latest episode of Spooks which I had recorded earlier and the final episode of Elfen Lied on DVD.

This morning when I got up I opened my birthday present, I got this year's edition of The Good Beer Guide which is what I usually get. When I came on line I made most of my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while chatting to Randi on AIM, to Firiona, Durel, Nillerz and GOTR in #spacefem and to Randi, Nick and Airbag in #futuramachat. I also posted a bit on PEEL.

After an early lunch we drove up to Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire coast to see the Glaucous Gull, it was fairly distant but with the telescope there was no doubting its identification, as well as the gull we saw large numbers of Grey Seals which come ashore to breed there, it is surprising just how close they come to people, in fact they come so close that there is a fence to stop people trying to touch them.


On the way home I got some use out of my birthday present, because of it we went to The Crown Inn in Maltby le Marsh and had some nice beer including one made at their new on site brewery. I have a feeling that we will be going there again next time we are in the area. When I got back home I came on line and chatted to my friend Lucy on Yahoo, I thanked her for the birthday card which arrived in today's post, I also chatted with Nemesis in #dataclaw and to Amy and TNUK in #futuramachat.

Tomorrow I will be going out to Norfolk as I'll be having my birthday meal at The Chequers in Binham, I expect we'll also do some bird watching while we are in the area.

Tomorrow we might go up to Donna Nook if the Glaucous Gull is still there, if it is I hope the weather is a bit warmer than today.

While chatting I wrote my weekly emails to Holly and Aleel and posted a review of X-Men 2 on the IMDb.

After lunch we went out bird watching, not to Donna Nook as had been planned yesterday but to a Ditchford gravel pits in Northamptonshire where both Glaucous and Caspian Gulls had been seen yesterday; unfortunately today neither were to be seen, at least it wasn't too far and the roads to there are much better than the one to Donna Nook. Once back home I came on line and spoke to Durel in #spacefem, to Dread, Nemesis and Tarwedge in #dataclaw and to Sticky in #futuramachat.

Last night after I updated I spotted a mouse in my room, I set a trap and swiftly caught it followed by another two, I think they must have come in to the house the day before when a tractor cut the grass in the dyke that runs behind the back garden. On line I had another chat to Randi on AIM and on Yahoo I chatted to Lucy. When I went off line I made my supper then watched the penultimate episode of Elfen Lied on DVD followed by this week's episode of Taggart which had just finished recording.

This morning when I came on line I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing while chatting to Randi on AIM, to Mandy on MSN and to Durel and Kirby in #spacefem. I also posted a bit on PEEL.

After lunch I had a nap and a bath before coming back on line and posting a bit more on PEEL, later I chatted to Dread, Kayura in #dataclaw and to Luna and OldJanitor in the Kingdom of Loathing clan chat.

Tomorrow I might be going out in the afternoon as there is a Glaucous Gull in the seal colony at Donna Nook, it has been there a few days so there is a fair chance it will still be there.
