Fever Dreams

Last Sunday Heather called me and asked if I wanted to hang out with her, Kari, and Riley (Kari's baby). So me and Emma got ready and went to Heather's house but Kari never showed up. She tends to do that alot though, so it was expected. I did want to see Riley though. The last time I saw her she was only a month old, now she's 5 months.
Heather and I hung out at her house for a while then we went on a walk. It was fun, and such a work out! haha We were going up hill most of the time, plus pushing the stroller made it harder, but that's ok.. Exercise is good!
After we got back to her house, we went to Baja Fresh for dinner, and then to Target. I got Emma a cute pumpkin hat and orange and black striped socks! She'll probably wear them when we take her to the pumpkin patch.
I took Heather back to her house after that, then we went home.

Becky, Bonnie, and I have been working out every morning for the past week. We've been doing a Tae Bo video. Wow, what a work out! I feel so good after we work out too! If we don't do the video, we power walk around the "big block" which is a mile long. And we bring Emma and Harley with us, so pushing the extra weight helps too. I like how I'm sore after, I know its actually working. lol

On Monday I had a doctor appointment. It was supossed to be my "6 week postpartum check up" but they had to reschedule twice before that, so I was finally going. Well, once me and Emma got there, they told me the nurse called out and they had to reschedule again. I was so mad! Especially becuase I drove all the way to Lancaster for nothing! They rescheduled me for the 20th. Emma will be 10 weeks old by then, that's not right. I told my mom and she called some lady and gave me a number to complain about the doctor's office, so I did. The office also never sent my disabilitly papers in to the disability office, so I almost wasn't able to get my checks, but I wrote an appeal letter and finally got all the back pay from my maternity leave. I hate that office. My doctor was nice, but the people at the front desk are terrible!
So, I finally switched Doctors. I went to Dr. Berman's office on Thursday. I really wish I would have gone there when I was pregnant. The nurses are so nice, and Dr. Berman was SO nice, I really like him alot. And I got an appointment right when I called and explained to them what was going on.

Anyways, after the doctor canceled on me on Monday, Emma and I went to Becka's then we went and looked at apartments. We looked at alot of them. I can't wait to move! We looked at model homes too. I would LOVE to have our own house... But, I don't want to live in the AV forever. I want Emma to grow up in a less trashy area, where there are more english speakers..

Thursay, after my doctor appointment, I felt really sick. I felt sick before I left, but I didn't want to cancel, so I went anyways. Right when I got home I threw up. I haven't been sick in over a year, it was terrible. I ate some left over chicken from the other night, I think that's what made me sick. Good thing my mom was home, she watched Emma for me until I felt a little better, then we went to bed. That night was terrible! I had stupid "sick dreams" and woke up sweating, or freezing cold, and I kept having to go to the bathroom. So nasty. But, in the middle of the day yesterday I felt fine, like I was never sick at all.. and today I feel perfectly fine, thank God.

I start work on Monday. I'm so sad.. I don't know what it will be like to be away from Emma for 9 hours every day! Plus she has her 2 month appointment on Tuesday, to get her shots, and I can't be there because I have to work. I feel terrible about that. I had her appointment scheduled for yesterday, but the office had to reschedule. I didn't mind since I was sick, but now I won't be there for her when she's in pain. I told my mom she needs to bring her into work after, so I can see her.

Emma is awake now, time for lunch!
