*points to last entry* wheee thanks guys :D I'm just happy that all that work paid off so everything can fall into place. Yes yes YES it is all over and done and the new year is coming. I don't think I've ever wanted a new year to come so bad, its all I could think of since summer. So much better things can come if I work at it, which is all I really want. 2006 FTW. As for Christmas haul, I got clothes (including black jeans yesss! I needed them so bad) and money to pay for my site for the next year. Despite my efforts to pay the bill before it was due my domain was still in expired status for a few days ¬¬; so whatever graphics were hosted on the main site are down. Sorry to anyone's stuff I was hosting on there (if at all, I really can't remember lol)... Well my journal layout was cracked for a while, but I suppose now that I have time I should see about a new, consistent one. And actually write in here more than twice a month XD Overall the holiday was pretty good, we had a whoooole lot to eat and my aunt and cousins came here instead of us going there. They made me play Harry Potter Scene It? when I didn't want to (I haven't fully watched anything past movie 1, I think I missed parts of that even, and I stopped after book 4 I think). Nevertheless I managed to own them... even though they are potterfanatics who watch each movie. Go figure XD There's more to say buuut I'll save for next entry =p |

In case you never looked and noticed, my DJ layout has a "no community ads please" sign. So I get personal invites instead. How cute. XD Must investigate. EDIT: The personal invites were "whored" to 30 people, which proves my original theory: that I, to them, must look like the village ass. XD I've tweaked my journal layout appropriately. In other news, I must prepare myself for the rush ahead, for the grand Eve-dinner-cooking extravaganza is on it's way. I think between the cooking and the cleaning, that's what makes NYEve more discouraging and stressful than fun. I just like to look at it as another day. |

I spent all day helping Barbie with her Christmas shopping... ugggggggh I was super dooper tired. I took a nap and then helped her wrap everything up, now I have to go make those desserts (yes I know its 2 in the morning). Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play. Step 2: Pick your favorite lines from the first 30 [lyrical] songs that play. Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from. Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly. I had to gather a LOT of mp3s for this, and yet it kept picking similar artists so I shuffled a bit more. X and Gutbuckets were in the mix too so I tried to sift those out. XP ( Read more... ) |

I have to say it, being off of school feels sooooo gooooooood. Sso far I have one grade - a C for interfarce design. Great great news, considering the grades weren't based on actual designs. A bucket of fried calamari with marinara sauce doesn't sound wrong in the least right now. As much as people are praying for wild snow right now, I personally hope not. It'll mean these bloody kids won't go to school and I'll be stuck with them all day. I already have to put up with them eating on my bed and drawing on my TV during the week, I refuse to have it on my last few chances for true alone-time. I should probably plan out my vacation time and my plans for the new year. Yeah. |

I saw the Incredibles today. Funny shit, just a teeny tad predictable. During the movie I thought to myself, well damn... Childbirth must've been HELLA EASY for Momma Incredible. I also was made to see the Spongebob Movie.. That movie drove me nuts, I wanted to leave so bad. I did like one character, though. A cookie if you guess who. I can't be the only one to notice the subtle perversions in the movie. |
