JOHN: You told me to do it without doing tables.

GLENN: Maybe it is wrong, but you asked me how I spell it.

TeACHER: George Washington not only chopped down his father's cherry tree, but he also admitted it. Now, Louie, do you know why his father didn't punish him?
LOUIS: Because George still had the axe in his hand.

TEACHER: Now, Simon, tell me frankly, do you say prayers before eating?
SIMON: No sir, I don't have to, my mom is a good cook.

TEACHER: Clyde, your composition on 'My Dog' is exactly the same as your brother's. Did you copy his?
CLYDE: No, sir. It's the same dog.

TEACHER: Harold, what do you call a person who keeps on talking when people are no longer listening?
HAROLD: A teacher.

- It's been raining a lot lately. At least the thunderstorms make it worth it. I love thunderstorms :)

- I quit smoking! The price of cigarettes went up to just over $7, and fuck that. I'd rather be healthy. Ish. I'm still eating my crap food, goddammit.

- The new Batman movie came out, and it was fucking INCREDIBLE. I really can't complain about a single moment of it. And anyone who wants to point out any faults to me can take their criticism and shove it up their asses. As a Batman fan, I was more than pleased.

- I think I'm in a weird place again. I'm happy enough, but I want everything in my life to be different.

- I'm going back to Middlesex next Fall, majoring in Graphic Design. Hopefully it'll be better suited to me than beauty school. At least I won't have to socialize all day.

- My twentieth birthday is next week. Hoooooooooooooly shit.

- So on top of the amazing trailer for the Watchmen, they FINALLY released the Half Blood Prince trailer. Little Riddle was fucking CREEPY. I'm stoked.

- I'd really like to be little again.

- Au revoir.

- It is EXTREMELY windy outside. I'm almost tempted to find an umbrella and see if I can fly through the air like Mary Poppins.

- The Office is coming back! I am beyond excited! BEYOND!

- I have a new tattoo! So does my dad! We're hardcore. Mine is Lock, Shock, and Barrel from Nightmare Before Christmas and Dad's is the Reilly family crest. His is BIIIIIIIIIG.

- I have to go to work today. I really don't want to, for purely lazy reasons.

- My uncle Eddie passed away the other day. He'd been sick for a while, but it's still sad. He was a good guy.

- I left hairdressing school. It was making me miserable and rather than sink into an abyss of despair (hello again, goth poetry, old friend!), I left. It was a good choice. I'm feeling much better now.

- I watched Atonement. It was severely depressing and sort of fucked up, but it was extremely interesting and well acted and beautifully shot.

- I'm going to Disneyworld in June! For eight whole days! Hooray!Childhood tries to leave me behind, but I won't let it.

- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is going to be split into two movies. On the one hand, I'm glad that they're doing that instead of cutting out a lot of stuff. But on the other hand, there's something about one cohesive movie that's appealing. I'd sit through a four hour Harry Potter movie. There might be something wrong with me, though. Anyway we'll see how it turns out when it gets here. You can't make any decisions if you haven't seen the final product. Look at me, being all diplomatic.

- Don't forget the postcard.

- Someone just said that on TV really quickly and I thought it was funny.

- I had bronchitis! It sucked! Luckily, my lungs remain un-imploded. However, they're still polluted by cigarettes. If I can find another, healthier alternative occupation for my hands while I'm driving, I'll quit. Til then...

- I really wish my life was more exciting but it's not.

- So my nineteenth birthday was the other day. It's sort of an obscure age, in my opinion. There are the exciting birthdays, like 13 (teenager!), 16 (driving!), 17 (R rated movies!), 18 (cigarettes! scratch tickets! porn!). But 19 is just sort of lame. The next big birthday is 21, and then they just aren't that exciting anymore. Oh well.

- My mom is putting in $100 for a tattoo for my birthday. She got me a jacket that I saw in a shop in Newburyport, too. But I'm getting the tattoo tomorrow. It's the Golden Snitch. And it's sort of good timing, too, because the last book came out last month.

- Speaking of that, it was fucking fantastic. I absolutely loved it. She killed a lot of people I loved, but it was a war, so what are you going to do? You can't just save all the good guys and kill all the bad guys. Still, R.I.P to R.L, N.T.L, A.M, H, D, T.T, F.W, I suppose. And Harry's firebolt.

- Kristal got a puppy. He's a papillon named Tonks. And very cute. About the size of my foot.

- Kristal asked if I wanted to come to her house for dinner last Wednesday, which just happened to be the day before my birthday. I figured it was just dinner because I hadn't seen her in a while and she had just gotten a puppy. So I got there, and I was sitting on the floor in the living room playing with Tonksie-poo and all of a sudden Shelly comes and straps something to my head, and I didn't really think about it. But then I caught a glimpse of the dining room/kitchen area and there was a huge balloon and the table had a "Happy Birthday!" tablecloth on it and I was quite confused. It was a god damn surprise birthday dinner with chicken cutlets (my favorite), mash potatoes (my all time favorite), and corn and cupcakes. It was very fun. Plus, Shelly got me a gift certificate for Sally Beauty Supply which is always exciting.

- Red in Reverse is doing pretty well, in my opinion. We have some kickass songs that we're getting recorded and they're just really fun to play. I can't wait until we start doing shows though. I really loved doing shows with Moving Target. And Red in Reverse is completely different, so it's going to be exciting to go out with that. Plus, I really do like Anthony and Dave. They're good kids and band practice is always fun, even if it's not particularly productive. I do need to start hanging out with them just for kicks, though. I think Anthony's birthday is on Tuesday. I should bake a cake...

- Friday night, my mom and I bought an angel food cake, strawberries, whipped cream, and an enormous bottle of wine with the intention of being total gluttons while watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (because we had watched Sorcerer's Stone the night before), but then... The power went out. We had nothing from about 5:30 to after midnight. So instead we were total gluttons while playing checkers/shifting pyramids by candlelight. And little kitty stuck her tail in a candle and I heard it singing and I freaked out and was trying to get her away from it while laughing hysterically, and the damn cat didn't even notice she'd been cooking an appendage. Silly thing.

- All things considered, good birthday.

music ? Bright Eyes - The Calendar Hung Itself...

- So, school ends in about three or four weeks. I'm not sure when exactly my last day of class/final exams are, but I know it's before May 17th. Which is good. But looking back on this year, it's just been such a waste. I only went to college because my parents made me feel like I had to, when I'd rather have just worked. And now, they're all over me about paying back my share. I have no problem with putting in a third of the tuition. But I'm not exactly rolling around in cash, and I want to pay them back at my own speed and it might take a while. Still, it sucks we all had to spend so much money on something that was such a waste of my time and effort, and it made me so miserable. I realized a long time ago that school isn't for me. I don't like going. I'm satisfied with what I've already learned. I don't need yet another math class. On top of this, I didn't even make any friends. Not that I wanted or needed them, but you'd think that spending a year at a school you'd find someone you want to hang out with. Not me. I sat in my classes and left when I could. I didn't have conversations with anyone if I had to pass an hour or so between classes. I realize that I'm the reason I haven't made any friends at Middlesex, but I didn't really want to in the first place. I just thought it was kind of interesting. Or depressing. Take your pick.

- Unfortunately, because I haven't made any new friends and my closest friends are between 20 minutes and 11 hours away, I've just been wallowing these past seven months. And it's not good for me. I'm bored and I'm lonely. I want my friends back.

- However, I am more than extremely excited about the new Harry Potter book and movie. I've been reading all kinds of theories and spoilers for the new book and I'm having spasms wanting to know how it ends. And they've just released a new trailer for the next movie and it looks fucking fantastic. Especially Fred and George's bid for freedom, which I think is a favorite scene of many people, including myself. And it looks like they've nailed it. See it for yourself:

- So I will definitely be applying to costmetology school in the fall. This summer my mom and I will be checking out all my options.

- Tonight, Shelly and I went to see the Last Mimzy. It was fucking awesome. Rainn Wilson is hysterical. Even when he's acting normal. Alfonse gave me a bunch of passes so I can get into the movies for free and an order to call him when I run out. :) Julie has been painting the house and it looks incredible. The dining room is green. And she and Shelly are going out to get a bunch of new furniture. It's going to be awesome.

- I have been invited to travel to the vaccum again, only this time so Kristal can come home for good. Because she got accepted to Merrimack. I might puke from excitement.

- Last Friday, Amy and I went to Burlington and I got some shirts and a new purse and new headphones (since I blew my other ones out). After, we went and saw TMNT. It was opening night. And that movie was fucking fantastic. I love ninja turtles.

- My elbow hurts. I don't know why.

- More and more Harry Potter stuff is coming out. The number of pages, the covers, the excitement that I get to know how it ends. That's all I really care about. I can read the books as many times as I want after it's over. But I want to know the fucking ending!

- Yesterday was Valentine's Day. It was also a snow day. I got flowers from my brother's friend. I feel pretty awkward, actually, but they are very nice.

- I'm totally blowing off figure drawing right now. I'm fairly certain I blew off color and design this morning too, but I can't be sure because there was a two hour delay at school. I'm not sure what that means... because this is college and some people have class at 8 and some have class at 12. Whatever. This is my day off.

- I'm going to see Muse open for My Chemical Romance in May. I'm going to pee my pants.

- Last weekend I helped my mom start tiling the shower in the bathroom. It sucked, and we have to do it again this weekend. But so far it looks awesome and we'll probably be really proud of ourselves when we're done. Showering will be that much better.

- I started school last week. My math teacher is crazy and the class is going to be boring, but not hard. Color and design is going to be alright, I think, if not a little tedious. Plus the teacher seems to expect us all to interact with eachother and become "like a family". I think not. My Drawing II class is going to be the same ol', same ol'. Only with a different teacher. She's nice. She's also my Figure Drawing teacher. You know, the class where I draw naked people. It's the class that I'm probably going to find most useful. Because if I know how to draw people, then I can draw them, say, doing cartwheels. Only if I ever draw someone doing a cartwheel, I'll probably put clothes on them because I don't think I ever want to see a naked person doing a cartwheel.

- I beat Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine this weekend. Sega is my bitch.

- I seriously need to clean my room. Do they bottle motivation?

- I finally bought a new bra! After about, five years! It's purple and blue and flowery and adorable. I'm far too excited.

- I also bought Teen Titans underpants. They're made for pre-puebescent boys, but they're too cute to not wear.

- A couple of weeks ago, I was really sick. As in, in bed all week sick. And I'll admit: I milked it for all it was worth.

- Oh yes! I completed one of my new years resolutions! I got me Batman tattoo. It's on my ankle and currently scabbing. But what do you expect? It's an open wound. But it's one of the cutest open wounds I've ever seen. The other one being the Auryn tattoo on my back. But that is harder to see.

- My mom got a tattoo too. She got little horseshoe prints walking up her chest, underneath where a bra strap would go.

- We got them last weekend. The decision was made to go in about, ten minutes. My brother came to the parlor with us, but he didn't get a tattoo. But apparently that's our idea of a fun family outing: Let's go get inked!

Dear whoever controls the weather - Mother Nature, the Weatherman, Halle Berry... whatever. Please make it snow? I bought a pair of awesome snowboots and I just want to build a motherfucking snow fort before the season is over. We live in Massachusetts, for fuck's sake! We should have been swamped in snow three months ago! Get off your ass, you lazy bastard, and give me my fucking snow!

Thanks.
