So, The Stills last night were amazing.
Anders and I ate pitas at his house, and then we picked up Hilary. She knitted me a scarf! Like, not then and there, but she HAD knitted me a scarf. It's green and furry.
And then we drove downtown, and had no idea where we were going, but we actually ended up finding the place okay! We waited in the wrong line for a while, and then got in the right line, which was shorter and therefore sweeter. We kept checking the other line for Hui Zhong and Pensa, and once we saw Murray and....Nat's brother, so we told them they were in the wrong line and let them line up with us. Eventually Hui Zhong and Pensa showed up and they waited in line with us as well.
I have no idea how long we waited to go in, but it didn't seem like that long. Long enough for my straightened hair to look retarded because of the rainy humidity. Oh wellz.
We went straight to the corner of the stage where we were last time we went to see The Stills and took turns going to the merch table. I got a Stills tote bag. SWEET. Anders got the same shirt I got last year, only like 9387234 sizes bigger. SWEET.
So we hung around for a while and then the opening act came on. They were pretty good. Good enough that I had part of one of their songs stuck in my head for a few minutes today. I kind of wish I had bought their CD. They had this cute little violinist girl. I wanted to be her, pretty much. After they were done they got all their own shit off the stage and then The Stills came out and set up all THEIR shit. PLUS, they kept coming out of this tiny room off to the side and like, going to the washroom and stuff. I don't know, it was just cool that they were so close to everyone and no one was screaming or fainting. I like this scene.
Yea, so they played. There were a bunch of new songs that sound so good and I'm so excited for the new album. The old guitarist left, so now the drummer is the guitarist/singer and they have a new drummer. He was so cool! Flipping his sticks around and being funny and small. Someone SUPER pissed off Dave (the former -drummer-now-guitarist), when they yelled out "play drums again." Man was he pissed. He kept swearing at him and telling him it was a new song so he'd be singing and not playing drums and calling the guy on to go up on stage the sing the song for him. So this guy goes up on stage after a while of this and they cut out the mic and Tim (the other guitarist) is all trying to get this guy off the stage. And then Dave apologised for making the show all about the asshole guy. And then they kept playing and were awesome some more. But Dave was so angry and upset the rest of the show, so it was kind of a downer. Like, the show was AMAZING, but it would have been exponentially better if that asshat hadn't done that.
Anyway, yes, it was amazing, and they played all my favourite old songs and the new ones just sound so good, etc.

After the show we went outside and hung around for a while. Devon Soltendieck and Sarah Taylor from MuchMusic drove by in a Civic and had to stop at a light near us, so Greg ran out onto the street, up to Devon's window and was all "Hey...YOU'RE A PUSSY." STUPID. So Sarah got all pissed and opened her door and was asking him if he had something to say and telling him he was rude and that he should go get an education (ironic because Greg is genius, but was expelled for a year or something). Anders said "why did Greg just do that." It was just so dumb. Plus I like Devon. And Sarah.
Whatevs. Everyone was smoking after that, so we left. Anders and I drove Hilary home, and then went to McDonald's drive-thru! We got french fries and I got an Oreo McFlurry and he got a strawberry milkshake. And then we went home. There was all this porn on TV, so we watched Video on Trial on Much and ate.
He took me home around 3AM.
SUPER TIRED. I slept until 8.45AM, went pee, and then slept again until 10.40AM. SUPER TIRED.
I guess I didn't really do anything today (Saturday). I went with mum and Mike to Wal-Mart (which we boycotted, but we have relapses every once in a while, I guess). I got socks, and body butter, and Noxema, and a shower scrubby thing. I can't think of the name. Then we drove around looking for shampoo, because Fortino's stopped selling the kind I JUST FOUND AND THAT IS PERFECT. So annoyed. And we didn't find it. I ate a sandwich for dinner when I got home.
Tomorrow (Sunday) Anders and I are going for a walk in the woods! And then we're going to buy stuff for him and look at paint colours for me! EXCITED. LOVE.
Now I need to go the fuck to bed. SUPER TIRED.

I didn't sleep well all weekend
but last night was absolutely lovely.
Today I shot my time photos and got a bit of frostbite on my fingers, I think.
So they'd better turn out. I used most of the film annnnnnd then wound it before it was done. I just won't let Shipman see that. And I'll buy Bryce a new roll.
Mike bought me a K1000 on Friday. It should be here by the end of the week, unless this guy's an idiot/asshat, too.
