One benefit of joining/being a member of ![[info]](http://www.deadjournal.com:8080/community.gif) deanimefans and going to our meetings is that we show things that you cannot see at home. We can do this without resorting to showing fansubs of unlicensed anime. Here's just a sample of the titles the club can get for your viewing pleasure. All you have to do is let us know what you want and we can see about getting it.
If you see something like Vol. 9 listed, Vol. 1-8 is available too.

I tend to post a lot of messages. This place is not just for me to vent and give out club news. This is your club as well as mine.
Feel free to rant or rave about an anime, manga, conventions or what have you. Make a post about the new plushie you got on ebay. Let us know what your next cosplay plans are. Is there a certain DVD you've been eyeing or waiting on? Let us know. By doing so, you'll find out that many of us have more things in common than you think.
So with that said...let it out. Post, post, post. ^_^

Hello everyone. I'm excited about the clubs first meeting. It's been announced before but some of you might have missed it. This is prolly due to just joining or not reading the mail. No biggie. DAF's anime club meeting will be 3/15/05 at 3pm. This meeting will happen at the Rogue's Den which is located in Claymont, Delaware. At this meeting we will watch anime and discuss future meetings. The discussion will determine how long the meetings should be in the future, how many dvds to show, what other events should be included, etc. I'll be there so if you have any ideas, questions, or comments, just let me know.

****Disclaimer in regards to the club DAF****
In the past week, DAF has been resurrected and is now both alive and well. However, a problem has arisen from requesting DAS's permission to continue using the DAF name. DAS founders claim that they still utilize the group's home page and name, yet on multiple occasions they can be cited as saying they do not want to be associated w/ DAF; that it was shut down and no longer in use. Upon trying to join DAF from the original homepage, a disclaimer pops up recommending that the person instead, joins DAS. Other links and references are available and can be provided if requested.
Based on the above information provided by the owners of DAS themselves, it is assumed that the group DAF is no longer associated w/ DAS other than as a redirection source. As such, DAF acknowledges DAS's right to continue using the site as a source of recruiting and this letter will be posted as a disclaimer so as to not confuse members of either group. DAS is not expected or obligated to return the favor, this is meant as a sign that no ill will should exist between the two groups.
